My name is Tomas, and I’m the owner of Taste Iceland.
My journey with Iceland began long before I started designing private tours. As a glacier guide, I’ve spent years working in Iceland’s powerful landscapes- learning how quickly the weather can change, how important safety really is, and how much more meaningful an experience becomes when it’s unhurried and well planned.
I originally come from Poland, but Iceland is where my life is now. Together with my wife- who supports and stands behind everything we do at Taste Iceland- I’ve built a company rooted in care, trust, and thoughtful travel. Alongside guiding, I study Environment and Natural Resources at University of Iceland, which shapes the way I think about nature, responsibility, and how we share this country with the next generation.
I’m also a father of three daughters, and that changes how I guide families. I understand the rhythm of traveling with children- the need to slow down, to feel comfortable, and to leave space for small moments that matter.
My tours are designed so children feel safe and curious, and parents can relax knowing everything is taken care of.
When you travel with me, it’s not about seeing everything.
It’s about experiencing Iceland in a way that feels calm, personal, and right for your family- at your pace, with someone who truly understands both the land and family travel.
